Hoch Tegin (409 AC424 AC) was a male Uigan Human who was the son of Krogan Boyla and became the Tegin of the Wolf Moon Clan following the death of his father.

In 424 AC, when the four royal lords of the Tegin came together at the Vale of Princes to select a new Boyla, Hoch declined to make a claim, stating he was too young to lead all the Uigan people. He rode with the Uigan to the Ilquar Mountains, voicing his objections to Chovuk Boyla about making allies with the Wretched Ones, however his objections fell on deaf ears. Eventually Chovuk drew his Shuk on Hoch, telling the young Tegin that he could continue to object (and be killed) or leave the Uigan. Hoch was temporarily humbled, however again grumbled about Chovuk's plans at the battle in Khal, and once more before the siege of Malton.

By the summer of 424 AC, Chovuk had left with his Tenach to enter the Dreaming Green, leaving Hoch and the other Uigan to continue the fight against the Minotaurs of the Imperial League. Hoch grew tired of Chovuk's leadership and claimed that he was the new Boyla in Chovuk's absence, with Sugai Tegin supporting him. With Chovuk's return, the rebellious Hoch told Chovuk that he was leader no more and to grovel before him. However Chovuk responded by having his new elven ally Eldako shoot and kill Hoch with a single arrow.
