Lacedons are Undead humanoids. They are the sea variety of Ghouls. Like their above sea equivalents they eat the flesh of intelligent creatures. They have green skin and bony limbs. Lacedons are usually covered by seaweed. Their claws carry toxins and can cause a paralysis effect. Also, those that are killed by lacedons could return as lacedons.

Lacedons near Watermere

There is a large territory of lacedons near Watermere. It is more specifically along the western border of Wibmachgloonestu. The first lacedons of this site were placed there by the Sea Witch Sagarassi. Sagarassi placed them there with the hopes that they would multiply and she could use them in her wars, which she did. They have no organization in the territory except that they will defer to an exceptionally powerful lacedon that lives there.

The merfolk that border the lacedons are some what safe from these undead since a large cliff separates their territories. Unfortunately, the Koalinths that the Dargonesti Elves call Nabari are not so lucky. The lacedons keep the numbers of the aquatic Hobgoblins low.

Prior to the Chaos War, there were about five thousand lacedons in this area.

Kender Tales

One source said that all Elves have an immunity to their paralysis attack while others indicate otherwise.
