Druen uth Matarin (? AC - ? AC) was a retired Knight of the Crown who was the innkeeper of the Dog and Duck Tavern in Solanthus. When the city fell to the Dark Knights under Mina, the inn had to close. Druen became angered at the Dark Knights, and enraged at the closing of his tavern. He allowed for the Solanthic Liberation Army to use his tavern as a meeting place when rebellion was first spreading. Even though he supported the rebellion, Druen did not like the prejudices that the Guildmasters had towards the Knights of Solamnia and wasn't shy about expressing his opinion. Druen was always quick to offer support to any Solamnic Knight that came to his tavern.
