Hippocampi are intelligent, aquatic horse-like creatures. They have horse heads with iridescent fins for manes. Hippocampi have two powerful front legs that end in fins. On both sides of their heads are three gill slits. Past hippocampi's rib cages are long fish tails. They cannot breathe air. Hippocampi are also known as Sea Steeds and come in many colors like: ivory, pale green, lime, and aqua. Hippocampi were likely created by the Graygem. Sea ElvesDimernesti Elves and Dargonesti Elves often befriend and use hippocampi. There is even a special unit of the Dragonesti army called Hippocampi Lancers or Waveriders that train and bond with hippocampi mounts. Also, the Dragonesti Teebawkh use hippocampi to herd schools of tuna. References
