Bezok of Austas (? AC - ? AC) was a red-robed mage and scholar who publicly stated he knew of lands beyond Ansalon where whole empires and civilisations existed. He claimed to know of Taladas and talked about raising an expedition to visit the continent. However he disappeared during the Second Cataclysm and is presumed dead.

His student Pelandar took up the studies of far away lands and also learnt of the existence of Taladas.
