Aurora (Human)Article written by Kranar Drogin & DarcwulfAurora (? AC - ? AC) was a human female from the lands of Lemish. Her father and mother are unknown, and she had a brother and a sister who had both been killed years prior to 422 AC. Her father had always been hard on her, expecting the best. She was small boned, thought to be far younger than what she really was, and also has a purple scar that covers her left ear to her cheekbone.
How Aurora came about this scar, and how her mother and siblings were killed was a sad story. When she was still young, her father left for a neighboring village. Three bandits took advantage, broke into the house and took them all prisoner. The bandits raped and killed her mother and sister, and killed her brother. While her sister was being raped, she bit the ear off one of their captors. As punishment, the bandits cut off one of Aurora's ears, and they left them in the house with Aurora being the sole survivor. Solamnic ServiceIn 415 AC, Aurora joined with the Solamnic Army to escape from her father. She was a fast learner though, but would always have the voice of her father in the back of her head to do better and what she did wasn't good enough. During this time she became very good with a throwing knife or shooting an arrow. She excelled in the art of war, and even on how to torture someone. She then fought for the army during the War of Souls as a solider. She was used frequently in reconnaissance and information extraction, and was part of a group of women the men called the "General's Whores". Eventually she was able to infiltrate the Knights of Neraka, and through the time with them she even came to admire a few of them while despising most. Aurora did some one thing she didn't like to remember, which was killing some civilians on accident, but she found that the Dark Knights were using children for war as their spies. Eventually she applied for release from duty, and after a five month waiting process she was released. In 422 AC, she was attempting to walk from near Jolithia to her home in Lemish. While walking, she heard a scream come from a farm. When she approached, she found Dark Knights had captured someone. So she snuck up on the farm and killed Sabe, who was on guard outside of the house. She was captured though, but awoke and was able to break free. She killed Jor and then Torm, but in the process was fatally wounded when she was stabbed in the shoulder that pierced her to the lung. She was able to free the boy, who ended up being a Metallic Dragon, and for saving his life, the dragon saved hers by having her drink some of its blood. It is unknown what has become of Aurora to this day. References
