Emberlynn (338 AC - ? AC) was the daughter of Erwyn and Zoral and younger sister to Darden, who grew up in the small village of Alban in Solamnia. He has long, blonde hair that when she was a child earned her the nickname of "Noodlehead" by her brother for the hair and having "no brains". She was also called just "Em" for short.

While growing up, she had no one to play with other than her brother Darden and his friend Camron. Emberlynn was sad to see her brother leave in 348 AC to fight in the War of the Lance, and would not see him until the war's end. Just two months before the return of her brother, Em found what she started calling her " Pet". It was actually a Black Dragon that had just been born, and she kept it in secret in the barn. Soon as her brother found out about the dragon, he tried to kill it right away. Em wouldn't allow it and saved the dragon from death. Together she and her Pet ran away from home, and Darden followed to stop her.

Together the dragon and Em would hide in a cave, but little did she know that a Cave Spider lived there. She was captured in its webbing, and Darden came to rescue her only to be caught in the web himself. Em's little Pet came to their rescue and they were freed. Darden allowed for the dragon to stay in the cave and he returned to his home with Em.
