2018 PC stands for the two thousandth and eighteenth year before the Cataclysm, during the Time of Light in the Age of Dreams. This date is also called 982 KToL Kender Time of Light by Kender scholars and 583 EC by the Ergothian Calendar.

The Wizards of High Sorcery launched an attack on the renegade mage Malock at his fortress in Zhaman. The renegade was destroyed and the mage Fistandantilus claimed Zhaman as his new home.
