Clovanos (? PC - ? PC) was a male Silvanesti Elf with gray-blond hair, who was a senator of the Thalas-Enthia of Qualinost in 1892 PC. He initially brushed off Kith-Kanan's stance against slavery as a minor problem, but was reproached by the Speaker of the Sun for his view. Later in the same year, he was further reproached by Kith-Kanan and senator Irthenie, when it came to light that he had developed unsafe towers for residents of Qualinost to live in. When it was public knowledge that Prince Ulvian had been sentenced to work as a slave at Pax Tharkas by his father, Xixis and Clovanos, who spearheaded a new group within the Thalas-Enthia known as the Loyalists (a group of senators who clung to the old ways and elven traditions), contrived a plan to promote Lord Kemian Ambrodel as the next successor to Kith-Kanan, knowing that the Speaker of the Sun would possibly free Ulvian from Pax Tharkas as he truly wanted his own son as the heir to the throne. Clovanos escalated the anger of the people against Kemian and drew on more support to get Ulvian freed and named as Kith-Kanan's successor. However the arrival of Prince Silveran, put an end to the arguments of Clovanos and the Loyalists. References
