Barnet (? PC - 2191 PC) was a male human of Ergoth, who was a senior military advisor and high general in the Ergothian army. He was short of stature, but was said to have had an air of power about him. Barnet bore long white hair and had a distinguished white beard as well. By 2192 PC, he had already served in the army for four decades, and was a decorated leader and key advisor to the Emperor of Ergoth. At this time he met with Emperor Quivalin V and his fellow generals, Giarna and Xalthan in Caergoth, to discuss their campaign against the Wildrunners of Kith-Kanan. Barnet proposed a three-pronged attack against Sithelbec, with himself leading the largest force that would serve as the central wing. In 2191 PC, Barnet was furious when he learned that Giarna had blamed the failure to destroy Sithelbec on General Xalthan, which resulted in the Emperor recalling Xalthan back to Daltigoth to be executed. Months later, the high general was even further angered when Giarna confronted him in his tent. Barnet went to attack Giarna, but was stopped by the other general who used a dark power to consume Barnet's life force and kill him. References
