Quimant (? PC - ? PC) was a Silvanesti Elf who was a respected noble and the head of Clan Oakleaf in 2191 PC. The elven noble also became a close friend and advisor to Sithas, Speaker of the Stars. Quimant was considered very attractive by elven standards, tall of stature, was intelligent and had a keen and a astute mind for both business and politics. When Speaker Sithas and Kith-Kanan undertook their journey into the Khalkist Mountains, Sithas asked Quimant to serve as regent of Silvanost in his absence. When Speaker Sithas returned from his journey in 2190 PC, Quimant reported of the latest events, including Ambassador Than-Kar's decree that the dwarves would remain neutral in the war between Silvanesti and Ergoth. Quimant was shocked when he learned that Tamanier Ambrodel had been sent by Sithas in secret to Kal-Thax to gain an alliance directly from Chieftain Hal-Waith. Shortly thereafter, Quimant brought Sithas to the Oakleaf mines, where the Speaker saw the slaves that worked in the mines. Sithas proposed to Quimant that the slaves be freed and formed into a company to serve the Wildrunners, and that the prisoners that Kith-Kanan claimed on the field of battle could in turn be sent to work in the mines.
