Valiance Coral Fields

The Valiance Coral Fields are fields of coral dozens of miles wide in the Courrain Ocean. The coral grew like trees and made a canopy fifty feet above the seafloor. The fields are about a day's swim from the cavern of the Matriarch and another day's swim from the World Gash. The Dead Well is west from the fields. The Aquatic Dragon Anhalstrax had her lair under the fields.

Pre World Gash

The fields were home to many kinds of coral of all colors and many kinds of sea life. Below the canopy was home to various sea fungi and tube mushrooms.

World Gash

By 426 AC the fields were poisoned by the sulfur waters coming from the nearby World Gash. Most fish fled after the coral started dying, but many sharks remained.
