Ulwen (? PC - ? PC) was a male human from Ergoth who was the first Praetor for the Empire of Ergoth. In 2239 PC, he made his first journey to Silvanost in order to sign the Treaty of Thelgaard, an obscure treaty that centred around the cloth trade. He later embarked on a journey with his escort to Silvanost in 2193 PC, in order to parley with the Silvanesti elves about disputes that had been occurring between the two nations. The Ergothian was ancient by this time, with yellowish skin, a bald head and rheumy eyes. He was in exceedingly poor health on this second journey and his young wife Xanille Teralind acted as his voice.
