Rikali Lockwood (ca. ? AC -? AC) was a half-elven female thief who was one of the travelling companions of Dhamon Grimwulf following his departure from the Heroes of the Heart. The thief was slender and lithe, having long curly white hair, which appeared almost silver in the moonlight. Dhamon GrimwulfThe half-elf was a thieving companion of Maldred and the kobold Fetch, and became the lover of Dhamon Grimwulf. In 420 AC, following a heist in the town of Ironspike, the thieving band were joined by Rig Mer-Krel and Fiona Quinti. The group journeyed to Bloten and onwards to the village of Knollsbank, where nearby they located a series of caves. Having been hired by Donnag to do so, the group cleared the caves of the trolls that inhabited them. Riki, Dhamon, Fetch and Rig were separated from Maldred and Fiona, following a collapse of the cave entrance. The group then made their return to Bloten, where en route Riki fell from the edge of the trail and was injured. Dhamon was prepared to leave her there, however Rig refused to abandon the half-elf and carried her back to Bloten. Rikali confessed to Rig that she was pregnant with Dhamon's child, but insisted that Dhamon was not told. The injured Rikali was left in the care of ogre healer Grim-Kedar, and Dhamon and her other comrades left without her for the Trueheart Mines. Varek LockwoodRealising that her companions had abandoned her, Rikali left Bloten and joined the human Varek Lockwood, who she married shortly after. Rikali learnt of Dhamon's whereabouts in the summer of 420 AC, and found her former lover and Maldred, just before they were about to be killed by five female thieves. Varek and Rikali managed to save the pair, however Elsbeth, one of the thieves, managed to capture her and take the half-elf to the spawn village of Polagnar, to be sold into slavery. Her companions found her in the village and she was freed by Maldred's magic, although later wounded from a bite by Nura Bint-Drax. Dhamon healed Riki, and with a new companion in the form of the Draconian Ragh joining them, they moved on. The group found the ancient pirate treasures that Maldred and Dhamon had learnt about much earlier and recovered several items. However during the recovery, Varek's leg was crushed and had to be amputated. Maldred's true form was revealed to Varek, Ragh and Rikali at last, and Rikali finally told Dhamon that she was pregnant with his child. The group were captured by the Legion of Steel, following information supplied by Satin and her thieves. They were imprisoned in Wheatland, however Varek and Rikali were released when the half-elf supplied information on all Dhamon and Mal's activities to the Legion commander. Following this, Varek and Rikali settled down in a quaint village near Throt. However in 421 AC, the village was captured by hobgoblins and the citizens were kept under guard. Ragh and Fiona led a small goblin force against the hobgoblins and freed the villagers. Rikali and Varek determined to leave the village with their young babe, and decided to move to either the larger town of Evansburgh or even Haltigoth. References
