Voltorno (? PC - 2192 PC) was a male half-elf who hailed from Ergoth and was in the employ of Lord Ragnarius to safeguard a company of woodsmen who were cutting down trees in the forests of Silvanesti. The half-elf was exceedingly tall, with golden hair and a fine beard that showed his human heritage. Voltorno and his soldiers captured the elven youth Mackeli and the griffon Arcuballis in 2193 PC, and after they were tracked down by Kith-Kanan, the confident half-elf challenged the elf to a duel. Using magic, Voltorno went to strike down Kith, but was instead struck by a crossbow bolt fired by Mackeli. The wounded Voltorno was assisted to safety by his men and returned to Ergoth. The soldier gave his report to his superiors in Daltigoth, who commissioned him to return to Silvanesti to deal with Kith-Kanan, Anaya and Mackeli. In 2192 PC, Voltorno and his soldiers tracked the trio to their home in the forest and subdued the prince. Anaya and Mackeli dogged the half-elf and his soldiers on their escape, as the pair laid traps and cut down all of Voltorno's men. The warlord was confronted by Anaya and delivered a mortal blow to her, however she in turn drove her bone knife into his heart and killed him. References
