Summerbane Castle

Prior to the Cataclysm, a small island lay in the far south of Ansalon, north of Icereach, and supposedly to the west of Brackenrock. The island was simply known as Summerbane Island and housed a singular fortress called Summerbane Castle. The castle and lighthouse stood on a large cliff that overlooked the sea, and the desolate rocky isle was kept icebound for half of every year. This area was important to traders who went to the island to trade for heavy gold ignots.

Following the Cataclysm, the castle became entirely overrun by the frigid conditions of Icereach and was stranded in the ice. In the Age of Despair, the island was no more and the castle was renamed to Icewall Castle.
