Blayne Kerrigan (? AC - ? AC) was the only son of Lord Sandy Kerrigan, and the brother to Marrinys Kerrigan. He was an apprentice Crown Knight, and later became a full fledge Knight of the Crown. Blayne had a curly mustache and long black hair.

Palanthian Legion

Blayne joined the Palanthian Legion in 424 AC, in the hopes of creating a better Solamnia. Little did he know that he would never leave Palanthas, and he was known for being a hot head and prone to fights. After five years he went back to his father who was now the lord at Vingaard Keep.

Rebellion

In the summer of 429 AC, his father did not agree with some of the policies that Emperor of Solamnia Jaymes Markham had created over the last year and refused to pay the taxes. Prior to the meeting with Jaymes, his friend Red Wallace caste a haste and invisible spell on him in case the parlay went bad. It did with them being charged with treason and put under arrest. During the scuffle, his father was killed and Blayne activated the spells to allow him to escape. He made it through enemy lines back to the safety of Vingaard Keep.

Exile

Blayne escaped from the fortress before it could be destroyed in order to continue the fight. He was captured by the Gray Robe Hoarst, and shown the Black Army that was going to attack Solamnia to "free" it from Jaymes. Blayne did not know that this group in fact only wanted to pillage Solamnia. He was tasked with the job of meeting with the Clandestine Circle in Palanthas to help in the fall of the city and Emperor Jaymes.

He first met with an agent who put him into contact with the Lord Regent Bakkard du Chagne. Blayne offered control of the city to the Lord Regent when the Black Army arrives to liberate the city. The Lord Regent agreed, and Blayne went to the city gates to wait for the army. When he saw that this army was in fact an army of Knights of Neraka, he had to fight his contact Archer Billings and kill the Dark Knight agent. Blayne is able to get the gates closed, limiting the number of Dark Knights in the city. He had to fight Captain Blackgaard, and kill the Dark Knight. For his actions in saving Palanthas, Emperor Markham gives Blayne a full pardon. One year later in 430 AC, he became the Lord of Vingaard Keep.
