Bonechisel HobgoblinArticle written by Kranar Drogin
Bonechisel Hobgoblin (? AC - Summer, 425 AC) was a Hobgoblin veteran from the Chaos War. Following the war he moved back into Lemish, became chieftain of a hobgoblin tribe, and took a mate. His mate's name was Laka, and she had been the mate to another male before Bonechisel killed him. Together they had one child who died after two weeks of birth. Sometime in the Age of Mortals, Bonechisel came upon a giant in a cabin in the woods. He had his three Goblin lackeys attack first, and he followed up with an axe blow to the giant's head killing it instantly. He would take the name "Giant-Slayer" for killing this giant who was Ankhar's father. Laka would adopt this child as her own. Over the years he would become very successful in raiding human settlements, and took charge of all the other hobgoblin and goblin tribes. By 425 AC, he could no longer trust his adopted son, and schemed to have him killed. Bonechisel was not a very good schemer, and Ankhar knew the truth. Ankhar took the opportunity to stab him in the chest with a spear, killing him. References
