Benedict (? AC - 427 AC) was a Knight of Solamnia who had become one of the Freemen, personal bodyguards of General Jaymes Markham. During the Battle of the Foothills, his lord was attacked by the Knight of the Thorn Hoarst with death magic. Benedict tackled his lord, but received the full brunt of the death magic, killing him instantly.
