Sithelnost was an elven city located along the Thon-Thalas River in Silvanesti. The town was named after the former Speaker of the Stars Sithel Silvanos. It was huge for a town, with half the buildings of elven construction, and the other half were located in huge trees. The many spires that dotted the town had brightly colored conical roofs.

Many of the noble houses of Silvanesti had a large presence in this town. House Gardener controlled the fields north of the city, while a small garrison of House Protector protected the city.

War of the Lance

When the Green Dragonarmy attacked Sithelnost, they found that the villagers had fled along with their leader, Lady Eluarna Nihriome. When Lorac's Nightmare descended upon the city, an enormous carnivorous plant inhabited the town. This was later purge from the town when Porthios Kanan cleansed all of Silvanesti.

Age of Mortals

Just prior to the War of Souls, the Legion of Steel had a base of operations located in the town that was teeming with elves and humans since it was located just outside the Silvanesti Shield. When Silvanesti fell to the Minotaurs though, its inhabitants again abandoned the town.
