Bannel One-Eye (? PC - ? PC) was a Master of the Black Robes sometime prior to the Third Dragon War. He felt that the Conclave was not allowing the Black Robes their chance at rule, and threatened to leave the Orders along with all the other Black Robes. They even went so far as to begin looking for locations for Towers of High Sorcery. Bannel wanted to become the next Highmage, and that was his goal in all this. Orrista of Solanthus saw the doom this would bring to the Orders, and restructured the Conclave to include fifteen members from each Order. Bannel never became Highmage as was his goal, but his successor, Lemmorras the Grim, became the next Highmage after Orrista.
