Night of Snakes

Night of Snakes (2638 PC), also called the Cha Quetai in the Ut-kiri dialect, was the night when four tribes of barbarians, under the leadership of Wolf-fang, attempted to attack the Tower of High Sorcery at Wayreth. The Wizards cast an Illusion spell, changing all the weapons into poisonous snakes, which bit their owners, killing them. The survivors retreated, naming the event the Night of Snakes. This would survive as a festival day until the Cataclysm struck Krynn.
