Graylord Joyner (? AC - 422 AC) was the former Sheriff of Solace who used to be a huge man. He was very good at his job, very sociable to the people and surrounding farmers. Graylord would treat with both the Qualinesti Elves and Samuval's brigands including playing Regal with Samuval. He wasn't a gambling man, nor was he very good at playing Regal. He had a very accepting view of all the different races of Krynn as long as they obey the laws put down. Eventually Graylord came upon the illegal activities of the brothers Gart Wykirk and Jutlin Wykirk. They killed him and wrote in Elvish "Morgoth" across his chest, and dumped his body in a field. Gerard would later solve the mystery of how Graylord was murdered.
