Abyss Lurkers look similar to squids with tentacles, a long head, and a beak-like mouth that lives in Krynn's oceans. When they have not fed their skin is translucent. Their number of eyes and tentacles varies from creature to creature. Each tentacle end is spade-like in shape and has a ring of needle teeth surrounding a suction mouth. When they are hungry they attack and latch on to prey then suck the blood from them. This act turns their skin crimson.
