Hithar (? – 353 AC) was a member of the bandit troop known as the Highland Rangers shortly after the War of the Lance.

Hithar's job was to guard the prisoners, Davyn, Nearra, Catriona, Sindri Suncatcher, and Elidor after their successful capture earlier. During the wintery night, the camp was attacked by Maddoc's dark pet, the Beast. Hithar was one of the first victims to the mindless slaughter of the Beast.
