Shimmer (? - ? AC) was a female Bronze Dragon that hid in a lake in the Vingaard Mountains during the Dragon Purge. She was known to have had emerald eyes and the ability to shape change. She would have remained in her lake undisturbed until someone fell into the water in 414 AC. Dhamon Grimwulf and Gale, crashed into her lake, which would have led to certain drowning for the Human. Instead, Shimmer saved Dhamon from certain drowning by taking him into her hiding place. After Dhamon awoke, she allowed for him to rest and recover before returning to the surface. She also gave him a glaive, which would only be known by the name Dhamon's Glaive.
