Faithful Hound

Article written by Paul Record

Faithful Hound is a Conjuration spell that a Mage or Sorcerer may cast to conjure an incorporeal guard dog that can only be seen by the caster. It guards the area it was conjured, as it is unable to move. The dog begins to bark when something approaches within 30 feet. The dog is able to see ethereal, invisible, and shadow illusions. It does not pay attention to figments. The dog will attack if an intruder comes too close. The spell duration is determined by the strength of the caster. The caster must be able to say the spell correctly, complete the appropriate hand gestures, and provide the proper arcane component/focus.
