Illusory Trap

Article written by Paul Record

Illusory Trap is an Illusion spell that a Mage or Sorcerer may cast to make a lock or small mechanism appear to be trapped to anyone who can detect traps. The caster must place the spell directly on the mechanism. Anyone attempting to detect, using a spell or device, is 100% certain a real trap exists. The caster must be able to say the spell correctly, complete the appropriate hand gestures, and provide the proper arcane component/focus.
