Within the larger school of Illusion magic is the Figment subschool. This subschool specializes in spells that create false sensations. A figment spell cannot make one thing appear to be another, can only be a projection of something the caster has seen or experienced before, and cannot directly cause any harm.

The figment subschool is an invention of the "3.0" edition of the Dragonlance game.
