Mirenhu

Article written by Ambro

Mirenhu (385 AC - ? AC) is a Human male that lives among the Wemitowuk of Schallsea and functions as the tribe's representative to the Citadel of Light. He was a lanky man with thinning, long blonde hair. Most people find him impolite due to disdain of unnecessary communication. Often he was accompanied by Ukon, a lizard with a tail that randomly changes color.

Early Life

Mirenhu was born Peytre Koendal in Solamnia. He left the Vingaard Mountains to become a Citadel Mystic.

Time at the Citadel

Shortly after his arrival at the Citadel of Light, Peytre showed skills with animism. He also, quickly learned after he started his studies that he did not care for the Citadel's methods of instruction. There was too much talk and sharing for Peytre's comfort. He believed that mysticism is a deeply personal and internal reflection was the best way to learn. By about 401 AC (18 SC), he was on the verge of leaving the Citadel when he read a description of the Schallsea natives the Wemitowuk. He found their culture of appreciating silence to be similar to his own. The next day he left with his lizard companion, Ukon, for the Wemitowuk.

With the Wemitowuk

Peytre found life among the Wemitowuk to be just what he wanted and the Wemitowuk the northerner well suited for their lifestyle. They named him Mirenhu, which roughly means "a distant relative who visits in disguise to test the family's honor." Over time Mirenhu began only to answer to his new name. Eventually he became the tribe's representative and would make regular trips to the Citadel and the Solamnic Sentinel.
