Herdlinger

Herdlinger was a Neidar village located near the center of the Vale of Respite, and the outskirts of the valley was protected by the Icecap Mountains founded sometime before 2073 PC. It was a ranching community that did trade with Thorbardin. Herdlinger although founded by dwarves from Thorbardin had its own system of self-government, independent of the Thorbardin Thanes. One chieftain was Fleece Ironhill.

War of the Lance

During the War of the Lance, the village was overrun by Ogres and Goblins at the command of Verminaard. It is unknown how it recovered from this attack.
