Winterhome

Winterhome was a Neidar village located in a shady valley that was called the Vale of Ice. The village was nestled in-between a glacier and a thick forest. The glacier was receding and had left behind vast deposits of iron ore. Many of the buildings in Winterhome were built out of stone but a few of them were built into the glacier. These homes were ice caves that went deep into the glacier. Winterhome although founded by Dwarves from Thorbardin had its own system of self-government, independent of the Thorbardin Thanes. One of the chieftains was Fir Icebeard.
