Kazzius (? - ? AC), also known as "Scarr", was a scheming male elder Black Dragon. Kazzius fought in the War of the Lance and was horribly mutilated by the lightning breath weapon of a Bronze Dragon. The mutilation was that he was half blind, and had a continued maddening pain. Kazzius would fly from one end of Ansalon to the other, never really settling down. He would occasionally take Welthinar as his consort, but he never remained with her for very long. Even though Kazzius was known to be cruel and vengeful, tales of heartache and suffering could move him.
