Welthinar (? - ? AC), also known as "Blacksnake", was a deceitful female elder Black Dragon who became the matriarch for the Black Clan following the Chaos War, and subsequent Dragon Purge. She lived in the swamplands located along the coast of the northern part of the Bay of Balifor. She would take Kazzius as a consort from time to time. Together they had at least one clutch of dragon eggs that were due to hatch in 423 AC.
