Derianstyn (? - ? AC), or Derian for short, was a Silver Dragon who was known to have been courageous, big, and very strong. He has seen more than his share of fighting over the years.

War of the Lance

When Silvara came with the announcement as to how Draconians were being created late into the War of the Lance, Derian was one of the first silver dragons to respond to the call to arms. He lost two Knights of Solamnia from his back, and saw the deaths of all his nest mates while battling Kitiara Uth Matar's Blue Dragons. All this caused him to be more cautious for the rest of his life.

Chaos War

When the Chaos War erupted on Ansalon, the powers of Chaos and his minions he controlled appalled Derian. He thought the entire world was doomed to be destroyed by these forces secretly. We know though that the races of Krynn were saved, but it is unknown if Derian lived through the war.
