In the central southern part of the Blöde region, along the edge of Onyx Teeth is the small ogre town of Onyx. Somewhat northwards of the ruins of Brukt, the town has long served as one of the gateways into the Blöde region and serves as one of the guardians for the capital of Blöten.

During the Age of Mortals, the black dragon Onysablet arrived in the region and created a massive swamp. The swamp formed right up to the edges of Onyx, however the town remained safe and just beyond the reach of Sable's Swamp.
