BludgeonArticle written by UzielTo the southwest of Blöten and at the base of the southern stretches of the Khalkist Mountains lies the ancient fortress of Bludgeon. Bludgeon was first created by High Ogres during the Age of Dreams, crafted by their finest artisans and also formed by the magic of their most powerful spellcasters. With the decline of the Ogre race, Bludgeon was later conquered by the Dwarves of Thoradin during the Age of Might, who only breached the walls with the aid of elven magic-users and who held the fortress until the Cataclysm. In the early stages of the Age of Despair, marauding ogres reclaimed Bludgeon and settled once more into the ancient ogre home. It is said that the walls of Bludgeon can never be breached, and have only been done so in the past through use of magic. The ogres of Bludgeon pay fealty to their king in northwest Blöten.
