TheodenesArticle written by Kranar Drogin & DarcwulfTheodenes (? - ? AC), or Theo, was a gnomish explorer, scientist, discoverer, and fixer-upper. He was known among his peers as a gnome who was an authority on just about any subject. He was known to have had an insatiable curiosity, a profound love of all things mechanical, and voraciously greedy to the point where he was unable to resist precious metals and objects. His Life Quest was to build "the ultimate tool chest" which means it will be satisfied only when he invents something that will hold every single tool ever imagined in one place for a mechanic to fix whatever they need. He was known to have traveled with his saber-tooth tiger kitten Star.
Theo was known to have stood less than four feet, but greater than two feet in height. He was warm, friendly, attentive, and polite. Quick to help, eager to please, and never learned from his mistakes. One of his inventions was to attempt to design fingerless, flame-resistant gloves, but all he got out of that was burned fingers. He had souvenirs from all over the world, but never could name where the items came from. He was known to be a great warrior, and would bring forth many different types of grenades to throw at his enemies. War of the LanceDuring the War of the Lance, Theo was adventuring in Abanasinia when he decided it was time to go home to Sancrist. So while sailing home, he was attacked by pirates, and during the fight he sank his own ship with an experimental weapon of his. He washed up on Southern Ergoth's shoreline near a ruined city and was captured by Ogres who threw him into prison. While working at smashing large stones into smaller stones, Theo caved in the quarry wall. This allowed for him to escape, but during this he had robbed from the Hill Giant Thunderbane the Singing Statue. While running from Thunderbane near Foghaven, Theo ran into a group of adventurers and was able to make his way back to Sancrist. It is unknown what became of him since that point. References
