Bern Vallenshield

Bern Vallenshield (? AC - ? AC) was born the son of Hobarth Vallenshield who was a local Farmer in Solace. He also had a younger brother named Kegan Vallenshield, whom he cared for and protected very much.

Bern was known to have been tall, brawny, reddish-brown hair and beard, always dressed simply in hunting leathers and cloak, and owned an enchanted blade named Fireborn. He was brave, honest, and a protector of the innocent and helpless. Bern was known to have been distrustful of strangers, but once he viewed them as a friend he was extremely loyal to them.

While growing up with his brother Kegan, he would be extremely protective of him and anyone else of his family and close friends. He came to know the woodlands around Solace and the Crystalmir Lake, here he honed his skills in archery, blade, and wilderness skills. He was also known to have fought off many wild animals that attacked the locals, and would serve as a guard for merchant wagons. He foresaw the coming of the War of the Lance, but it is unknown what sort of contribution to it that he played.
