Lord's Palace

The Lord's Palace is standing on the north side of the Central Plaza, this magnificent building is considered by many to be the most beautiful building in Palanthas. The central building is flanked by two wings and the entire building is made of white marble, gold, and steel. The Lord's Palace is the home of the city's ruler, the Lord Mayor of Palanthas or, following the liberation of the city, the Lord Regent. This is where all official business is carried out and it is also from here that the Lord of Palanthas used to address the public.

During the time of the Lord Regent Bakkard Du Chagne in 425 AC, the tallest tower on the palace was dubbed the Golden Spire for the 12,468 bars of gold he kept in the tower. It is a round, glass-walled room at the very peak of the tower, and magic spells casted by Coryn Brinefolk protect the gold from being stolen.

In addition to being the Lord's residence, the Lord's Palace also hosts the Senate with several chambers reserved for Senate gatherings.
