Sinking Wells

Just north of Missing City and Mem-Thon are the Sinking Wells. This site is a central watering hole in the Plains of Dust, home to travellers, wanderers and desert nomads, where they can rest and gather water. The Sinking Wells were created several thousand years earlier when an underground cavern collapsed and a sinkhole was born. The level of the water rises and falls, but always has enough to sustain weary travellers and the beasts of the desert. In more recent times, the Tarmak warriors have setup a garrison at Sinking Wells, and guard the area closely, holding the watering hole to provide water for their armies.
