Dom-Shu

Article written by Uziel & Kranar Drogin

The Dom-Shu were one of the wild Human tribes that lived in the Great Green, along the southeastern border of the Ergothian Empire in the Age of Dreams. The tribe was considered wild savages by the Ergothians, but and lived their lives within the forest. They were capable warriors who were led by a chieftain, whose word was the law in almost all things. They did not practice blood succession, and a new chief was chosen from the leading men of the tribe. The tribe would revere the unicorn, the Forestmaster, as a Beastlord.

Both males and females of the Dom-Shu fought in battle, in which they painted themselves with various designs for war. When a warrior came of age, either male or female, they were required to weave a headband they would then wear into battle they did not expect to live through. They would also cut their hair as an offered sacrifice to Bran.

They were always clad in buckskins, and normally wore their hair in braids to keep out of the way when fighting. The Dom-Shu were tanned from living in the outdoors, and robust and strong people. Most Dom-Shu stood at least six feet tall, and had either blond or brown hair.
