Vapor Imps

Vapor Imps, or Blood Sea Imps as the locals call them, are a breed of Imps that are located in the Blood Sea of Istar. When the Cataclysm struck Krynn, they were able to travel from the Abyss onto the Mortal Plane.

Vapor Imps are small red figures with horns, clawed hands, long sharp tails, pointed teeth, and are about two feet tall and weigh about twenty pounds. The imps constantly cackle, groan, and scream as their form of communication, but they can use telepathy.

When Vapor Imps, who normally travel in packs, attack a ship, they will murder the entire crew after they have disabled the ship so it may not sail. The imps will then take the bodies into deep into the depths of the sea to consume the bodies. The Imps can usually not be feared when you only see one of them, but when you see them in groups, you had best run for normal physical weapons can not harm them. Only magic can destroy them.
