Hatonar

Article written by Uziel

Hatonar (? - ? PC) was the son of Ergoth Emperor Ackal IV and Ergoth Empress Thura, and the Crown Prince of Ergoth. The prince was a soft and pampered youth, who was born and grew up entirely within the Palace of Daltigoth. Unlike many former Crown Princes and Ergothian noblemen, Hatonar had never served in a campaign, nor even left the palace walls. He was considered a dandy by most, and certainly not a hardened Rider of the Great Horde.

Crown Prince Hatonar was described as being thin and reedy, and having elaborately curly hair. He was present at the coronation of his father, serving as a musician in the parade for Emperor Ackal IV. Hatonar was destined to succeed his father eventually and become the next Emperor of Ergoth, however Ackal IV's younger brother Nazramin, forced Hatonar to cede the throne to him on the emperor's death in 2401 PC.

The fate of Crown Prince Hatonar after the death of his father Emperor Ackal IV is unknown, however it is presumed that he was disposed of by Prince Nazramin, who later became known as Emperor Ackal V.
