Solamnic Language

The Solamnic language is the language of the people of Solamnia. The language was used as one of the primarly language of Ansalon up until the Cataclysm struck Krynn. There is another form of Solamnic simply termed 'Old Solamnic' from the times long before the Cataclysm.

Phrases in Solamnic or Old Solamnic

"Drakus Tsaro, deghnyah!" means "Great Dragon, well met!"
"Est Sularus oth Mithas" means "My Honor is my life".
"Est Sudanus oth Nikkas" means 'My Power is my Truth'.
"Est Tsarthai en Paranaith" means "My companions are your friends."
"Est othas calathansas bara..." has an unknown meaning to it.
"Oth Tsarthon e Paran" means "Is our meeting (between us) in friendship?"
"Perunde oc cadaver" means "Obedience Unto Death".

Solamnic Phrases

When preparing for battle, never forget to look up to the gods for a blessing, and while your eyes are thus occupied, to check for enemies hidden in the trees.

'Coincidence' is Old Solamnic for 'I don't know.'

'Gone to Huma's breast.' is a Knight of Solamnia saying when a Knight dies.

'Fair noon.' is an antique Solamnic greeting.

Inconsistencies

"Est Sularas oth Mithas" and "Est Sularis oth Mithas" are in correct spellings of the Solamnic phrase 'My honor is my Life'.
