Vakka Zan (? - 2421 PC) was an Ergothian noble from the Pakin family, who was a nephew of the Pakin Pretender. In battle, he wore spiked armor and was known as a skilled and agile warrior, with the striking speed of a snake.

Vakka fought against the forces of Lord Odovar in 2421 PC, where he was defeated and captured by the warrior Egrin Raemel, who was aided by the boy Tol. The noble was taken back to Juramona to be executed. Tol argued that the man should not be killed, and even Egrin pleaded the case to Lord Odovar. However the Marshal of the Eastern Hundred would not be swayed and had Vakka beheaded.

The young noble had pale skin and white shoulder-length hair, and was known as one of the "White Pakins". He also bore pink eyes with blood-red pupils, and was so slight of figure that he was sometimes mistaken for an elf.
