DeriArticle written by Uziel
Empress Deri (? - 2452 PC) was the daughter of Ergothas III and became the leader of the Pakin faction in the years following her father's death in 2480 PC. However, the throne was claimed by the Ackal faction in the form of Ackal Dermount, and Deri realized that at this time she was not strong enough to oppose the existing emperor. Deri and her Pakin forces waited until 2458 PC, in the reign of Ackal Dermount II, before they waged civil war against the Ackals. The war lasted for six years until it's conclusion in 2452 PC. In the final days, Deri assumed the throne of Ergoth, becoming the Empress of Ergoth for most of 2452 PC. However, Ackal Dermount III soon deposed her in the same year, and the throne of Ergoth was returned to the Ackals.
