Ackal VIIArticle written by Uziel
Ackal VII (? - 2193 PC) was the Emperor of Ergoth from 2240 PC to 2193 PC. Known as a descendant of the mighty Ackal Dermount, Ackal VII was much more of an active ruler than his predecessor, Ackal VI. In 2200 PC, he re-instated Hylo as a vassal nation of Ergoth, something that had been introduced much earlier in the reign of Pakin III. During the latter part of Ackal VII's reign, there was increasing tension along the borders between Elves, Dwarves, and Humans. Ergothians found themselves fighting with the dwarves and elves, and there was little that Ackal VII could do. His empress never bore him any children, and so he named the current head of the Quivalin line (a royal bloodline of Ergoth) as his successor and heir. Ackal VII passed away of old age in 2193 PC.
