Gwynned VII (ca. 1 PC) came to become Emperor of Ergoth whilst still in his teens, when his father suddenly passed away whilst he led a war against Istar. When Emperor Gwynned VII ascended to the throne, he called an immediate halt to the advance of his forces, as not only did he abhor violence, but he also feared the power of the Kingpriest.

Only one month later, the Cataclysm struck and devastated the Empire of Ergoth. As the land of Ergoth was ripped from the mainland and split into two, thousands of Ergothians were killed, including the young and newly crowned emperor, Gwynned VII. The young emperor was dead after only one month on the throne, and no more would the entire land of Ergoth be ruled by a singular emperor.
