Bestell III, the Faceless

Bestell III (ca. 1018 PC), was Emperor of Ergoth during the Third Dragon War. In these tumultuous times, the emperor stayed safely within the walls of Daltigoth, surrounded by his courtiers and royal guard. Bestell III was known as the Faceless, since he never appeared beyond the palace walls, and constantly hid away, living in fear that he would be killed. The one act Bestell III was noted for, was appointing the noble Guy Avondale to lead his armies.
